Putting Projects First —
What is IPM?
The IPM Service is an active and growing resource within MCC, supporting MCC and Accountable Entity partners with the skills and tools to deliver Compact and Threshold Programs with high impact.
Empowering accountable entities to deliver
To empower accountable entities with the skills and tools to ensure timely compact outputs and solve problems, while fostering high levels of team engagement.
How IPM works with partners
IPM strives to be an effective, adaptive, and inclusive partner across the MCC program ecosystem. Five principles guide how we engage:
Localization
IPM considers each AE’s knowledge and local context. If an AE has a different but valid method, IPM may accommodate rather than impose a single approach.
Systematic, Adaptive Methodology
IPM provides a structured project methodology adaptable to the scope, scale, and nature of each project — not a one-size-fits-all framework.
AE Agency
IPM strives to nurture and enhance the agency of the Accountable Entity — building local capacity that outlasts the compact.
Ecosystem Inclusion
IPM is inclusive of the greater program ecosystem — partners, IEs, and other stakeholders. Better project results are only achievable by supporting the full activity ecosystem.
MCC–AE Collaboration
IPM supports collaboration between MCC and AEs in their various roles — easing the burdens of implementation and oversight for both sides.
